Chapter-XXIII.

In the recording studio there were a couple of people standing behind several computers and other devices. A dark, bespectacled man was shouting orders for assistants walking to and fro with cabels, instruments and stuff. Behind the glasswall stood Dave preparing his voice to sing, to warm it up. He was singing Mary's little lamb again and again. When he thought his voice was ready he nodded and he started to sing the first few lines of the first single from his new album Hourglass. It was the Miracles. The one, of that beautiful song he started to write back in that small lodge in the snowcovered mountains under the Mount Cook. He was singing it passionately eyes closed. His headset was on his ears the mic in front of him, the people around him and love inside him. He lifted his eyes and his gaze met mine. I knew he was singing it for me. When the song has come to its end he was standing there waiting what the recording stuff would say. They were on the opinion that it couldn't have been any better. He sang the bare version without any mistakes, so they recorded it. He came out from the glass-cage and approached me. -Thank you Mau, I hope you liked it.
-Yes, I did. How long you will stay?
-Dunno yet. Go home baby to your kids we'd meet in the evening at the usual place, right?
-Right. Well, I hope your work will be succesful this afternoon, I wait you back.
He kissed me goodbye and was already on the phone calling someone. He was busy, so busy. I hardly could see him in the last few days. I drove my steps toward the car and was thinking about what I should prep for the kids for dinner this night.
The time walked on heavy feets and I was waiting for the night to fall. My husband arrived home and we had dinner in a good mood. When the kids went to bed hubby nailed me a question. -Will you spend the night with Dave?
- I, well, I don't know. He is still in the studio, he said he would collect me at eight, but there is still no sign of him.
- Congrats, you've got a second husband now! God, how many times I heard while I was working till the late hours. Do you nagging him because of it, too?
- No, Laci, I don't. And it's not funny.
- Okay, okay, come here, and he hugged me.  - Call your David at once and tell His Gahaness, that you spend the night with me, not with him! I wanna be with you, making love all night long, do you remember how does it feel?

And I did. He picked up when I almost hung up.
- Hey, is it you, Mau, I'm almost done. I know I am working overtime now, he laughed, but it goes so very well. I would be there for you in half an hour!
-Dave, Dave-I barely could speak, cause Laci was kissing my neck all along and biting me, his hard shift pressed into my body and he started rapidly undress me. I know he heared Dave's every word and he was happy I couldn't meet him tonight. -Dave, I can't go out with you tonight..
-What is it, you never ever call me Dave. I am always David for you. What's wrong?
I screamed a soft one as Laci rammed inside me and started to fuck me, hard, without mercy. He pushed and pushed, his hips moving ever faster. And I had to explain to my lover why I can't stay the night with him. I knew simply telling him I stay at home is not enough for him. He wanted reasons. He demanded them in a raised voice in the phone. I had to cover my husband's mouth not letting him to tell Dave, that I can't go, because he is having sex with me right now. Either, the fact how much I enjoyed his touch on me, his love for me. It wasn't a really bright idea to tell him that I love to be with my hubby and I don't like to wait for hours in vain.
-Dave, I will explain it tomorow, now I should go, I moaned into my cell while Laci brought me to the edge of climax passionately biting my neck from behind and rubbing my clit with his free hand, the other holding my hips and he thrusted his dick into me wilder than ever. David was still talking, not understaning what's going on when Laci took out the cell from my hand grinning and turned it off. The worst thing was that I didn't even care in that moment how David will react tomorrow as I reached my climax in my husband's arms, crying his name out this time for a change. Laci wanted me like mad. I knew he didn't want to loose me and he was afraid that he could loose me because I find Dave more attractive. It wasn't true, but whenever I wanted to talk about this he closed himself like a clam and didn't speak a word. He simply waited, and waited paitently when this madness of mine will end with Dave. That day could be tomorow as the things were at the moment. David will kill me. He must have sensed what was going on. Men! Always the trouble with them, I sighed as Laci wanted to repeat his former action and pulled me onto him. He promised a passionate night together, man and wife, and we did have a passionate night together.
Next morning he went to work and I was sitting in the living-room, unable to call David. The kids asked if they can spend a day at one of their friends and stay for the night. I agreed and my friend -who had two kids and the kids were friends too with mine-appeared to give me some comfort. Altough she had more experience in questions like this, as she had a lover for years beside her husband who neglected her for a long time she couldn’t give an advice what to do with my dock-worker as she called David. After two or three coctails we were a bit merrier, but still hadn't found a solution to our aching problem, when she left taking the kids with her. I had a shower and wanted to have a rest when David appeared at my door. He wore a poker-face this time, hidding all his feelings, so I didn't know how to react. He didn't asked if he disturbed us, just came in and stayed standing in the middle of the living room. Then the storm broke out. The beast was off its leash.
- How do you dare to treat me like this, he hissed at me. I'm not your fucking toy-boy to play with. What did you do? You had sex, right? I know your voice...I...He was raging, grabbed my arms and turned my body to make me look at him. -You, you....
and of course, he couldn't say I am a cheater, because I'd been with my own husband. He was my lover, not my husband. He went silent and sat down staring in front of him with a frozen and sad face.-I'd better go. It's clear, you've chosen him. I'd better to go.
-Dave, I started...
-Dontcha call me Dave, call me fuckin' David as you always do!
-Don't scream at me David! And you can go if you want to, I won't hold you back.
-Won't ya?-he looked up to me with anger, fear and sadness in his eyes. I was scared to death he would leave me.
-Oh, yes I will!-I cried and throw myself into his arms and he embraced me with his strong arms.-Don't leave me, I whispered to him.
-I won't, I won't, he promised. Sorry, I am jealous like mad. I wanted to be with you last night. I made a surprise and I felt so pissed off. I felt you didn't want me anymore. That you are tired of me and wanna a break from me. I know, I am to blame, cause I...
-No, David, there is no one to blame. Life just provided us a strange and uncomfortable situation to deal with. I love you as I always did. No one ever can change it,. Not even my husband, I think. But you must understand him. He is my legal husband, has his rights...
-Yeah, fuck you, when I want to close you in my arms.. We can't spend much time together, we are living at the opposite end of the world. We should use our little time we have!
-I know David, so don't waste more time. From now on I am yours till next morning.
-Untill next morning!-he sighed. - I dont like the idea of sharing at all. You know that I want to live with you.
-You know David I said no.
-I want you to change your decision. Why don't you want to live with me? I know you love me from the bottom of your heart. You proved me. Mau, we are loving each other. Then why not?
-David you know this just as well as I know it. We have our responsibilities, we owe to our family members. We can't be so selfish. We went too far already. It is a strange love, having families and loving each other at the same time. We should accept we met just too late. Had we been met earlier I could be your wife and mother of your children. But we hadn't met earlier, just now. David, think about that how good it is we'd met at all!  The world is such a vast place with so many people living in it. The chance of meeting was so small. I waited eons to meet you, I loved you since I first heard your voice all those years ago. And finally we met. Be happy, okay? Love each other and forget evything else.
-Okay, Mau, now come with me I show you my surprise.
-Where are we going?
-To our place, to our house on the island. Remember, ur mine till next morning, we still have 22hours to go, he remarked with bitterness in his voice.


He was very impatient on the ferry-boat to the island and he drove like mad until we reached our house. Which was rather a villa, then a house. A huge one actually. It had a garden as big as a football stadium, pool and everything luxus someone like him could needed. He ushered me into the house and made me sit on the edge of the bed. He took out a small box from his pocket, went down on his knees and took out a ring he got made for me. -Mau, I know I can't marry you, but I want to feel that you are my woman. Take this ring as the token of my love, and he pulled the ring on my finger. Do you accept my love? Will you wear this ring despite everything? Will you wear this ring for me?
-Yes, I will. I accept your love and I am your woman My Love.-I took his face into my hand and kissed him. He sighed and placed his head into my lap, caressing me tenderly.
