Chapter 12
She stepped out of the shower and put on the bathrobe, hoping that it was his, not his wife's. She looked around to find her clothes but then remembered she had to rush to the bathroom without taking them, thanks Dave! She went back to the bedroom. Her shirt and skirt were lying on the floor, she couldnt see her underwear but it must be somewhere around the bed, she thought. She blushed, remembering how fast Dave took off her clothes last night, almost tearing them apart. Before she reached down to take her shirt, she turned left to see Dave in bed, lying on his stomach, sleeping peacefully. She got closer on her tiptoes and leaned down. He looked so beautiful and innocent. His dark hair, suntanned back and the outline of his butt and legs made her swallow hard at the sight. The mug were on the nightstand, half empty. He couldnt even wait to finish it, or didnt like it, she thought smiling. Normally caffeine kept people awake but obviously Dave was so tired, just like her, and the coffee didnt seem to work. Even the sunlight that filled the room didnt bother him and he fell asleep. All her anger fade away slowly. She felt her heart soften and smiled lightly. She couldnt resist the beauty before her eyes and reached out to caress his dark hair gently, trying not to wake him up, she didnt want to break the peace. She slowly stood up and looked around for her purse, hoping she didnt leave it downstairs. After finding it, she took her comb and went back to the bathroom to comb her hair. Then she dried it with the towel. She didnt bother putting on her underwear. She slipped off the robe and slowly slid under the cover, next to Dave. When she lift it, she saw his beautiful naked body underneath. His lean form looked gorgeous on the white sheet. She felt a hot wave going to her groin, making her crave to wake him up just like he woke her in the morning and feel him inside. But she couldnt do that, poor thing fell asleep and it would be only cruel to wake him up; even for sex. She moved closer to him and buried her face into the hollow of his neck, inhaling his masculine scent. Her legs touched his lightly. Dave stirred as a response and she thought she woke him up but he was still asleep. He just rolled on his left side and put his right arm around her waist. Angela rolled on too and pushed her back against his chest and let him spoon around her. His chest was rising and falling against her back with each breath he took. His hot breath on her hair and bare neck made her shiver. She could feel his heart beats, they were calm but strong. That moment, she felt herself so close to him, like she could touch his soul. The warmth of his skin, his arms around her body, his body pressed against hers made her feel like she really belonged to someone. How much she needed it right now, to feel cared and protected. She put her hands on the back of his, feeling the outline of his veins. The sleep took over her slowly and she closed her eyes, the images of their love making still playing in her head.
