Chapter Twenty Two

Gently Dave placed Callan down on his bed, “You're freezing” he whispered kissing her lightly on the lips, “I'll go and run you a bath see if we can get you warmed up.”

“Now?” she asked looking up at him, “But I thought......”

“I know what you thought” he chuckled interrupting her “But we've got all night,” he glanced at the clock and smiled “Well all morning.” He leant down and kissed her on the nose “Don't move, I'll be right back.”

Pausing and looking at her from the bathroom door he smiled at her and blew her a kiss before disappearing from her line of sight.

Callan closed her eyes and shivered unsure of whether it was the fact she was cold, what had just happened between her and Dave out on the roof or the anticipation of what was about to follow. If anyone had told her as she'd gone up there that her and Dave's relationship was going to change suddenly like that, she'd had laughed, but somehow everything that had just gone on seemed so right almost as if it was always going to happen. A small smile formed on her lips as she heard Dave softly singing to himself coming from the bathroom.

Dave turned the taps on full and added some of the oils he'd picked up on impulse a few days before, singing softly to himself the lyrics that he'd been working on during the time she'd been away he found candles in one of the cupboards and placed them around the edge of the bath before lighting them and turning off the main lighting. He went back over to the door and just stood staring at her unable to quite believe what was happening with them, true he'd always found her beautiful, but he'd never felt anything like this about her until up there in the pool. Somehow his feelings had changed for her completely in that moment that he'd looked at her. A smile played across his lips as he watched her open her eyes and stare directly at him.

“Okay baby?” he asked.

“I'd be better if you were lying with me.”

“Think you can control yourself if I do?”

“I can't promise anything, willing to risk it?”

“For you anything.” He made his way over and lay down beside her slipping his hands under the throw he'd wrapped around her and carried her down in.

“I just thought all our clothes are still up on the roof.” she whispered as his hands cupped her naked breasts.

“They'll be fine, I'll go back up get them later.”

“Dave someone will go up there and find them.”

“Sweetheart” gently he placed a kiss on her cheek “It won't be the first time someone will have found clothes lying about up there.”

“Really?” she asked raising an eyebrow,

“Not mine though, that was definitely the first time I've done anything like that up there.” He chuckled, one of his hands stroking her left breast gently as the other slid its way down her body gently parted her thighs and came to a stop between them and started circling her clit lightly through the material of her knickers.

“Mmm” she moaned softly “That feels good.”

“Good” lightly he kissed the back of her neck “I'm going to always make you feel like this I promise.” he whispered his fingers slipping inside her underwear and starting to move towards her entrance which was already wet.

“Dave” she whispered “I don't want you to touch me there, not just yet.” she paused for a moment blushing, “Not inside, not yet..”

“Ok, whatever you want” he replied immediately moving his fingers away and going back to her clit. “We do it exactly how you want to remember, you set the pace, you call the shots, yes?”

“Yes.” she turned round to face him and reached up to stroke his face enjoying the feel of his stubble under her fingertips “David?”

“Yes baby?”

“Why did you?” he watched as she blushed trying to find the right words “I mean why?....when we were..”

“It's okay I know what you mean.....upstairs when we were in the pool. Just before I kissed you, I suddenly realised, I guess all the signs were there but I didn't see them at first, but I realised my feelings had changed for you.” He leant down and placed a kiss against her lips. “That I wanted more, why do you ask?”

“When you kissed me” she whispered “Everything sort of fell into place in that moment, I realised I wanted more than to just be friends, I just wondered...well.”

“That maybe I was just trying it on with you?”

She nodded embarrassed. “I mean why would someone like you want me.”

Dave smiled at her and stroked her hair. “Because I find you beautiful, intelligent, funny and now so incredibly sexy.”

“But...”

“Hush Callan no buts” he wrapped one of her curls around his finger and rubbed it against his cheek, “I'd never ever take advantage of you, you mean way too much to me to risk losing what we've got, if I'd only have wanted sex with you I would have made it obvious that was all I wanted from the first day okay, what we have is deeper between us and I've realised that I want even more than that with you now, I want, no I need to take it one step further.”

“Ok” she whispered.

“I'll go and check on your bath, although right now the last thing I want to do is to move away from you.” he stood up and suddenly lifted her up into his arms making her giggle.

“Dave what are you doing?”

“I don't want to leave you so I'm taking you with me.”

“You're crazy do you know that?”

“Only about you.”

Gently he set her down on the edge of the bath, then tested the water with his hand, “Perfect” he murmured, turning round to face her he slipped the throw from her shoulders and pulled her to her feet wrapping his arms around her and kissing her, his tongue slipping inside as she eagerly opened her mouth for him. Moving his hands down her body he pushed her knickers down over her hips and let them drop to the floor before picking her again and whispering “Lets get you into that bath.”

Slowly he lowered her into the water smiling as she gave a little moan as the water lapped over her skin. “How’s that, not too hot?”

“No perfect” she smiled.

“Good” taking a cloth from the rack behind him he moistened it in the water then picked up the soap and passed it over the cloth. Slowly and gently he made circular movements over her back, covering her skin with the lather.

“Mmm that feels so good” she moaned.

“Good” he leant down and placed small kisses on the back of her neck before standing up and slipping out of the black briefs he was still wearing and sliding into the water behind her. Placing his legs either side of her he pulled her body to his so that she was pressed against him and he could feel her skin against his.

“That's better” she whispered “I was feeling lonely in here on my own.”

Dave switched his attention to soaping her front and abandoned the cloth as he reached her breasts. Adding more soap to his hands he moved slowly over her breasts finding her nipples and gently rolling them between his fingertips.

“God you're really sensitive there aren't you” he whispered as she began to moan loudly at his touches.

“Mmmmm” she managed in reply her body beginning to shiver with his caresses.

“And I know you love this too.” he whispered as his lips met with the skin on the back of her neck again.

“Dave if you don't stop now I'm not going to last” she whispered between the rapid breaths she was taking.

“Go with it then sweetheart” he whispered moving his hand down over her body, his long fingers finding her clit and gently rubbing it again. “Just give in to it.”

“No” she shook her head “Not like this, I want the first time I come with you, for you to be inside me not just touching me like this.”

“Ok if that's what you want” He moved his fingers away from her clit, “That’s what I'll give you.” The hand on her breast moved back up to her neck and began stroking her there, “But I can still do this can't I?” he asked between kisses.

“Yes,” she leant her head back so she could look at him and smiled.

Dave's hands moved to the shampoo on the side “Let's get this hair washed” he whispered. Sliding away from her he gently pulled her backwards into the water and rested her head against his lap letting her hair fan out in the water between them.

“You've got the most beautiful hair do you know that?” he whispered lifting her slightly so she was leaning on his chest. Pouring shampoo on his hands he gently began massaging her hair “It was the first thing I noticed about you all these curls, I wanted to touch them like this, to run my fingers through them.”

“Did you?” she blushed.

“Yes, I've never wanted to that with anyone before, just something so simple like that, lean back and let me rinse your hair for you.” once again he pulled her back into the water and gently rinsed the lather from her hair before pulling her up and against him again. Wrapping his arms around her waist he gently slid the two of them along until he could lean against the back of the bath with Callan resting against his chest. Silently they lay together each of them lost in their thoughts neither of the feeling the need to break the comfortable silence between them, content just to hear just the lapping of the water over their bodies and the flickering sounds of the candles surrounding them.

“Callan?” Dave asked after ten minutes.

“Mmm?”

“You know when we were in the pool and you told me what you wanted me to do.”

“Yes.”

“I didn't mishear did I? You did say what I thought you said?””

Softly she smiled “If you're asking me that then I think you heard me correctly, why?”

“Are you sure? It just wasn't what I was expecting you to say.”

“It's what I want, how I've always imagined it to be.. although…”

“Although what?”

She looked up at him smiling shyly “I never thought I'd find someone who I'd actually be comfortable enough with to ask.” she turned so she could see him “But with you somehow I do, it's almost as if it was meant to happen like this.”

Dave smiled and looked down at her, “I'm glad you feel like that with me, it's how I feel about you too. I feel that I can ask you anything." Reaching down he bought her hand up to his lips and kissed it gently "I've never felt like this before about anyone.”

“Dave” she smiled “I think its time.”

“Time baby?”

“Yes time, I want you to show me how it feels, I want you to make love to me.”
